I get the magazine Scrapbooking etc. To me it a magazine that is just filled with ideas from front to back. When I want to, I can go on line to scrapbookingetc.com/quick-collage and download free photo templates. I can go on and on about this magazine I have a hard time putting this magazine down when I get my new addition. One article that I like is the one on how to use little scraps of scrap booking paper or for that matter any kind of paper. Take a pinch clothespin and put paper on one side and a magnet on the other side. Seal the paper with decoupage medium. Put it on your refrigerator to hold pictures or important papers. So many different items can be used in your scrapbook. There are so many things that I did not realize could be used when I first started scrapbooking. Some of these things are rubber stamping, cut outs, ribbon, lace, old greeting cards, lace, buttons, card stock, rick rack, wrapping paper images, embroidery floss, yarn, this is naming only a few things that can be used to enhance your scrap booking pages. Remember when working close to photographs acid free papers is the key. Checking out the store on the side there are many scrap booking books that can give many ideas and many more items that can be used in your scrapbook with out hurting the precious photos. The thing that I do best when I am working on my scrap booking pages is have fun. If I am working by myself or working with a friend I am having fun. |
