The Tahquanemon Falls are also called the Root Beer Falls because of its color. http://www.michigandnr.com/parksandtrails/details.aspx?id=428&type=SPRK The falls are located at Paradise Michigan. There are the upper falls which drops 50 feet down and is over 200 feet wide. At four miles down stream are the lower falls. These falls drop a 22 feet and are over 100 feet wide. There is about 50,000 gallons of water that goes over the falls every second.
