Chronic pain effects everyone in the family in one way or another. From watching your loved one in pain and you can not help to wishing that the person could do the things that they did before. Resentment is possible too, because someone else has to do the things that the hurting person used to do. There are so many emotions that can go through a family if one person is hurting. If the pain is in yourself or myself, I would be very frustrated that I could not do the things that I used to do with my family.
