Reading can benefit everyone from the young to the old. It can take one to places that they can only dream of. I am a preschool teacher and I am working with children teaching them the letters and the sounds that they make. I made up a song that is simple and catchy. I was just messing around with the song and then the children one at a time started repeating after me. Then they started saying it along then filling in the blank. We were playing but they were learning at the same time. I know it is just a beginning but these children that I work with are 3 years old. They already are starting the ability of reading.
