White House

The White House is the oldest public building in Washington DC. George Washington was the only president  not to conduct congress in the White House.  The British burnt the White House in 1841. Using the same structure the White House was rebuilt. There were other changes that took place between 1948 and 1952. With the changes that were done to the building George Washington could still recognize it today.
