Dale Jr.and other drivers gave their opinions of the Goodyear tires. The tires being too hard and wearing the way they did was not to the satisfaction of the drivers. The tires were coming apart and the cords were showing. With the cords showing was that safe for the drivers? However, Goodyear will figure out something better for the next race at Atlanta Motor Speedway in October. Dale still finished in the third position of the race. With the bad luck that Dale Jr. had with the accident with Casey Mears, the crew worked and still finished the race in 40th position at the race in Fontana. |
