Maui

Though most people will willingly travel to Hawaii without much convincing, once you decide to head to Hawaii it is hard to figure out where to go. Maui happens to be one of the most popular Hawaiian destinations ... and for good reason.

Maui is the second larger Hawaii Island, and it is also the largest island within Maui Country (Lanai, Kahoolawe, and Molokai are also part of Maui County). At the moment, Maui is home to over 100,000 residents, and it is becoming more and more popular amongst tourists as the years progress. While most tourists flock to the beaches that line the Maui coast, there are many other things to do on this island as well. The Hana Road is one of the most picturesque roads within the entire state of Hawaii, and it runs through the lush mountains that surround the island. You may also decide to walk near one of the dormant volcanoes that are open to visitors, or maybe a day within the sleepy fishing town of Lahaina will suit your soul best.

Many tourists find the West Maui and South Maui are the best spots when it comes to hotels and condos, but the entire island is really quite dream-like. Whether you head to Maui as part of a honeymoon, or whether you head there simply to relax – there is no place on earth quite like the gentle sway of Maui. If you are seeking a Hawaiian Island that incorporates all the comforts of home, lots of shops, and plenty of sandy beaches, Maui is your best bet – though you may want to watch out for those tourist crowds during the peak season.
